Fabiola Goes Geocaching!
So, Fabiola, dressed in her stylish winter weather duds gracefully drove her bright orange 4 wheel drive utility vehicle (WITH! even brighter orange slow moving vehicle sign on the back) to the co-ordinates and went searching. Fabiola found her very first Geocache! It was most thrilling!
Fabiola left a tiny concrete sparrow sculpture that she made with her very own hands.

What is Geocaching?
Geocaching is an entertaining adventure game for gps users. Participating in a cache hunt is a good way to take advantage of the wonderful features and capability of a gps unit. The basic idea is to have individuals and organizations set up caches all over the world and share the locations of these caches on the internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the visitor with a wide variety of rewards. All the visitor is asked to do is if they get something they should try to leave something for the cache.
Delightful Blog Alert!
It is a known fact that if you are not sure how to punctuate a sentence, throw in a little of everything. More is more!
This blog struck Fabiola because, well, because it pokes fun at oddball punctuation. Quotation Marks specifically. If there is one thing that Fabiola knows -- it is how to mangle punctuation!
The Blog of "Unnecessary" Quotation Marks.
Snowflakes, Snowflakes and more Snowflakes
Last Post, I, Fabiola was enthusiasing about my Sparkling Silver Snowflakes drifting all around the Christmas Tree. Along those lines, Fabiola went searching for other snowflakeania.
This is fun -- Better Homes and Gardens has on their site a "make your own snowflake" gadget. Also, there is a wonderful animation with snowflakes drifting, if you "catch a snowflake" text will tell you who made the snowflake!
Drifting Snowflake Animation and Make Your Own Snowflake Gadget here.
Fabiola's snowflake number is -- 5570453. Did you make a snowflake? Which one was your wonderful creation?
It is snowing here in Fabiola world. Real snowflakes, the weather folk are saying blizzard, Fabiola just sees snow. Fabiola is sending Mary out today to take some photos. She won't get lost, she will follow the rails through the woods.
Update! Woods in Snow Photos Railroad in Snow Photos.

Silver Snowflakes
Mary said that it was hillbilly chrome on a roll anyway, I, Fabiola, declared that it was silver snowflakes, dozens of them. They are now hanging all around the Christmas Tree, which only goes to prove that I was right.
You may be wondering how one acquires entire rolls of silver snowflakes (minus the cutting out part). Industrial surplus warehouses. I, Fabiola, nod wisely and declare that amongst the grease laden machines, the laser this and heavy duty that, are treasures. Metallic treasure on a roll.
Fabiola could see it. Would you have?

The photo, of course, does not do them justice. They are sparkly and beautiful.
Don't look at Fabiola like that. Fabiola knows that some of you have crocheted something or other ornaments on your tree, don't try to tell her that you don't. Your ornaments are wonderful it you love them! Fabiola loves her hillbilly chrome, ahem, sparkling silver snowflakes drifting around the tree.
Fabiola Doesn't Deal Well With Linear Time
Fabiola's world.
Regardless, despite all the whirling and what-have-you, Fabiola did try her whiskey injected turkey idea. Well, whiskey s-l-o-w-ly reduced on the stove with butter, then injected. Not bad. Needed a not sweet cherry sauce. Maybe, maybe to be seasonal, cranberry, but Fabiola suspects that cranberry might be too aggressive.
That said, while the whiskey turkey was not bad, it just screamed pretentious fancy pants food. Well it did. Fabiola may live in a world where time refuses to sit still, but everything else has been shellacked in place for the last 60 years. Taste in food is no exception.
