I've Looked At Clouds ...

Fabiola has looked at these clouds from one side only as they are 2 dimensional. Mary painted them on the walls of the spare bedroom. They used to be early morning clouds with touches of pink and yellow, but an amazingly bad local "decorator" took the sunrise outa the clouds.

There is a great story behind the bad decorator, but even Fabiola can't go into that now. -- Stencilled picket fences and bird houses over marble floors -- no, Fabiola can't bear to tell that story, because she isn't drinking tonight. One of these evenings, Fabiola will get into the single malt then bessie bolt the door.

Mary used a similar method to the one she used in her "Homage To A Floor" only she limited herself to blue and cloud colors.

Neato -- what'd that dedecorator do to ruin the sunrise?

Hey Anony!
The Horror! She took all the light barely there yellows and pinks and just the tinyest touches of almost maybe purple off of the clouds. Now they are just white. No gray, no deep blues, just white. Fabiola may never get over it.

Fabiola should not be surprised, this same decorator painted the master bath a yellow gray and when anyone (Fabiola) else would have used a bluish pearl gray. Heavy Sigh. Fabiola must take a moment here.

Thanks for commenting dear anony.

Begs the question -- how'd this home wrecker get in your house without your being there?

Dear Anony,

This is rural Ohio, socially we have not yet acknowledged the 20th century, let alone the 21st.

It would not have mattered if Fabiola was standing there screaming Nooooooooo! at the top of her lungs. As it was, I was off at work, the stencil queen knew one of the fella's friends, was 5 ft. tall, 90 pounds, bleached blonde and could cry on cue. Those were (apparently) all the skills that she needed.
